The Stage X Story
In a city like Dubai, known for its soaring skyscrapers and cultural diversity, there was a gap that needed to be filled—a place where the artistic spirit could flourish. We embarked on a journey to create a haven for artists, whether they were beginners eager to discover their creative side or experienced performers looking to hone their skills further. Noha and Ayah faced countless challenges trying to find a space that encouraged free expression, practical learning, and the development of a supportive community. This frustration became the catalyst for Stage X.
Mission
We are here to bridge the gap between the vibrant artistic spirit within each of us and the opportunities that lie within the growing entertainment industry of Dubai. Our approach blends the spirit of improvisation, the art of acting, the power of public speaking, and more. We believe in the transformative power of the performing arts, and we have designed our courses to be immersive, engaging, and practical. Our goal is not only to teach but also to inspire and equip our students with the skills they need to succeed in the industry. By Artists, For Artists.
Purpose
Since our inception, Stage X has grown into a vibrant community of artists who share a deep passion for the performing arts. We offer courses that transcend traditional teaching methods, focusing on hands-on experiences, creativity, and personal growth. We believe in learning through play, where improvisation, acting, public speaking, and more are not just skills to master but a gateway to self-discovery and professional opportunities.
MEET AYAH & NOHA
Ayah’s passion for the arts began at the age of 15 when she started as a director and cinematographer. This initial spark led her to pursue studies in cinematography and screenwriting, paving the way for a dynamic career in filmmaking across the UK, France, Spain, and the Middle East. Along her journey, she collaborated with renowned brands such as Gucci, Fendi, Dior, Prada, and more. Ayah remained deeply connected to the local community, imparting her knowledge in filmmaking, acting, improv, theater & screenwriting. Through these efforts, she played a key role in building and nurturing a vibrant local artist community.
Noha has been on stage since she was 9. Her journey took her from theaters to live television in Egypt, until she started her journey in the corporate world. She toured the world (45 countries and counting) creating and delivering training programs across multiple disciplines - digital marketing, public speaking, leadership development, team building and more through various positions at Facebook/Instagram, Visa, advertising agencies and more. A year ago, she left it all to come back to her passion, performance arts and helping people find the creative in them.
Combined, they bring the best of both worlds, creativity and corporate. Together, they embody the art and science of performance arts and storytelling. Their mission is to empower artists -established and new- to embark on a journey of self discovery, growth and professional expansion.
It all started @ Villa 17, in a living room in Jumeirah. Free Improv classes and practice on Monday’s, which were no longer the most dreaded day of the week. Strangers became a community. They embarked on a journey to create a haven for artists, whether they were beginners eager to discover their creative side or experienced performers looking to hone their skills further.
This became the catalyst for STAGE X.
